You don’t need to be famous. You don’t need to be a professional speaker. And you don’t need to have survived something extraordinary. If something you’ve lived through has shaped you, changed you, challenged you, made you laugh, made you think differently or simply stayed with you, we’d like to hear about it.
Almost anything. It might be about family, friendship, love, loss, work, identity, adventure, failure, recovery, belonging, parenthood, ambition, an unexpected encounter, a ridiculous decision, a moment that changed everything, or something we haven’t thought of.
There is no checklist for an EVRY1 story.
If it matters to you, we’re interested in hearing why.
We get it. It’s easy to hear someone else’s story and think yours isn’t important enough.
We’re not looking for the most dramatic thing that’s ever happened to someone.
Some EVRY1 stories are extraordinary. Others are about seemingly ordinary moments that changed the way someone saw themselves, another person or the world around them.
You don’t need an extraordinary life to have a story worth hearing.
Sharing something personal publicly can be a big decision. We want you to feel informed, comfortable and in control of what you choose to share.
We’re looking for honesty, perspective and something worth sharing. A great EVRY1 story might make someone laugh. It might surprise them. Challenge them. Move them. Help them understand a life completely different from their own.
Or it might make someone sitting quietly in the audience think:
“I thought I was the only one.”
It doesn't need to be polished. We just want to understand what you'd like to share and why.
